5 Celebs Who Surprisingly Left Us This Last Decade

2020 was a difficult year for everyone, there is no doubt about that. However, the last decade was not entirely easy either. Okay, there was no global pandemic, but a lot of celebrities we were fond of left this world. So that we do not forget about them, here are 5 celebs who passed away in the last decade, and whom we miss dearly.

Alan Rickman

The amazing Professor Snape‘s passing broke all of our hearts for real! Most of our generation grew up with Harry Potter, and it’s undeniable that Alan Rickman holds a special place in our hearts.

The actor died on January 14, 2016, aged 69. The only consolation is that we will always have the legendary movies he left behind to always remind us of him!

Carrie Fisher

Princess Leia is also one of the celebrities who left us in the past decade. Many will remember that it was in the middle of the new trilogy of the saga that Carrie Fisher said goodbye. So, unfortunately, she couldn’t see the result when it was finished, but her colleague made sure to pay her tribute.

Paul Walker

Speaking of celebs who left the world mid-shooting, who doesn’t remember the tragic death of Paul Walker? In fact, the actor who rose to fame thanks to the “Fast & Furious” movies also left us in the past decade. In his case, it was a traffic accident where speed supposedly ended his life. However, his memory remains in the saga in the form of a tribute in one of the films, including a dedicated sountrack by Wiz Khalifa.

Amy Winehouse

Another big celebs loss in the world of music this decade was Amy Winehouse. The British singer and songwriter died in 2011 following an overdose. It was not quite a shock to many, given her lifestyle containing certain reckless habits and drug abuse.

Robin Williams

The fun man who made our childhood with iconic movies like “Mrs. Doubtfire.” The actor took his own life in the summer of 2014. The news that shocked the world revolved essentially around the severe depression Robin Williams suffered from. Especially, given the irony of being a comic actor his entire life.

Disney channel can literally englobe all of our childhoods in one small box called a TV. The leading entertainment company (at the time,) gathered some of the most known celebrities currently. In fact, it even witnessed the rise of some of them, such as The Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato. Moreover, our favorite Disney Channel stars have also grown and changed. Lizzie McGuire Just Welcomed Her Third Child

Hillary Duff, the lead actress of the Lizzie McGuire show, is undeniably one of our favorite stars growing up. Besides booming professionally after the hit series, she also had a full personal life. She first got married to Mike Comrie, had a son together and then filed for divorce. Then, she re-married with song writer Matthew Koma, with whom she had a daughter called Banks, and a son who she gave birth to earlier this year.

Earlier this week, one of our fav Disney Channel stars, Macaulay Culkin (also known as Kevin from Home Alone) welcomed his first baby at age 40! Even better, the baby’s mother is none but Brenda Song, famous for her role in The suite life of Zack and Cody, also a hit show on Disney Channel!

Speaking of which, both ‘Zack and Cody’ are grown men now. In fact, the brothers Cole and Dylan Spouse have grown so beautifully, that they are considered fashion icons. Furthermore, Dylan is currently in a relationship with model Barbara Palvin. On the other hand, his brother Zack is now single, after the end of his long-lasting relationship with Lili Reinhart last year.

The Jonas Brothers Married Co-celebs

The Camp Rock stars had busy years ahead. They quit their band, each started their own music, and then finally reunited again years later. On the personal side, the three brothers are not only married, but Kevin and Joe are now fathers as well. In addition, Nick and Joe Jonas married fellow prominent Hollywood Stars: Priyanka Chopra and Sophie turner.

The show business industry is definitely profitable. It generates a lot of money, and celebrities get paid a lot.  However, bad money management can’t save anyone from bankruptcy, including celebs. In fact, having lots of money comes with responsibilities. Of course, if you spend all your money on cars, private jets and even islands, chances are that at some point you will end up with nothing. And that’s exactly what happened to some of our favorite celebs, who once were super rich but unfortunately, they’ve lost it all. 

Nicolas Cage

He has made more movies than we can remember. However, despite having made more money than most people in 10 lifetimes, it did not save him from filing bankruptcy after spending most of his fortune on luxuries and all types of commodities.  From a private island to the search for the holy grail. It’s safe to say that his personal life is worthy of a movie itself. 

Pamela Anderson

The ’80s icon doesn’t seem to know very well what to do with her money either. Moreover, her crisis started when her career started falling off.Going from America’s ”Baywatch” sweetheart to nothing in the blink of an eye. But, once again, taxes do not spare anyone, no matter how famous you are. Something that, together with constant partying and some bad investments, Pamela Anderson takes part of the list of celebrities who once were rich and lost it all. 

50 Cent

Most of the 90’s jams were sponsored by rapper 50 Cent. In fact, he reached glory with his hit music, and made a fortune.Sadly, his lux lifestyle and a series of legal problems due to his nasty divorce, took it all away.. In fact, 50 Cent was left in debt for over 20 millions. Something that one or two hit albums still can’t pay off.

Lindsay Lohan

One of the few actresses better known for her personal life than for her filmography. And of course, when you are famous for taking drugs, partying and fancy lifestyle, you are more likely to loose some cash. In addition, Lindsay was known for not keeping track of her funds and investments. Due to that, the actress declared bankruptcy in 2012. Luckily for her, although she lost it all, she didn’t get into as much debt as other stars on this list.

Brendan Fraser

He became a world star with “The Mummy” and it sure is his most successful movie. In fact, his life just went downhill after that, struggling with many box office failures and lack of work. Furthermore, and just like in most divorce cases, child support coupled with financial problems left him with nothing.

Quarantine really got us seeing the weirdest things on social media. From Tik Tok challenges, to cooking experiments, and even new songs about ”Coronavirus.” Although it’s pretty safe to say that everyone is out of things to do, Celebrities proved to be even more bored. However, w must admit that they are still entertaining us, even behind closed doors, through a celebs’ virtual fight.

In addition to many celebs’ challenges and new looks, several Hollywood actresses joined in together for an epic celebs’ virtual fight.

“Badass Boss Bitches” Featuring Many A-Listers

The video that was shared by Zoë Bell on her youtube channel, features big names in Hollywood. Cameron Diaz, Scarlett Johansson, Margot Robbie, Drew Barrymore…etc, showed their fighting skills despite social distancing. The idea? Well, Badass Boss Bitches, as Bell labeled the video, is just for fun and has no ulterior motive. Furthermore, the first sequence clearly shows how bored these celebs are, punching, kicking, or thwacking the next participant through the camera. If anything, lockdown has proved that everyone is equally bored, regardless of how big their house is, or how rich they are. In fact, celebrities went viral in quarantine, unleashing their creativity through releasing hilarious videos.

Why Can’t Celebs Stop Releasing Epic Content?

The ”celeb’s virtual fight” is just a notch of what has really been going on in Hollywood this quarantine. Do you remember the Coronavirus video by Cardi B? Or even the epic High School musical throwback featuring Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens? Yeah, celebs just can’t stop releasing epic content.

Nevertheless, there may be a valid reason behind this trend. In fact, Hollywood is just as impacted by Covid-19 as any other business. Therefore, while celebs are trying to keep busy and entertain us, they also try to stay in the spotlight, and make sure they are still ”trending.”

The Best Of Celebs’ Social Distancing

Regardless of why we are seeing so much celebrity related content, we are happy to be entertained (by all means.) Like Madonna’s new version of her iconic song ”Vogue” with fried fish. And of course, when Ellen got so bored of ”social distancing” that she started calling and ”annoying” everybody on her celebs’ contact list. Moreover, solidarity movements were also promoted by celebs like Priyanka Chopra, who joined the rest of us in applauding all the sanitary workers.

Spanish Football player and Atletico de Madrid’s current star Marcos Llorente, is definitely having fun at home while keeping his girlfriend entertained as well. He came up with this ridiculous challenge of holding a glass of water into the ceiling with a broom. Next, his girlfriend was supposed to hold the broom while he removed the chair he used to put the glass of water. What the poor girl didn’t know, is that the challenge was leaving her stuck, until she figures out how to move without dropping the water and getting completely wet.
This challenge was later adopted by other football players, who tricked their wives and girlfriends into holding the broom stick, then leaving. I guess when you are bored, you must literally create your own activities to have fun at home.
