The heartbreaking news broke on Saturday, after Caroline Flack was found dead in her apartment. The former TV host of reality show ‘Love Island’, reportedly killed herself just minutes after her best friend left her place.
Speculations regarding the suicide claim that it was due to social media backlash. The 40 years-old struggled with ”shaming” following her pending case, in which boyfriend accused her of physically abusing him.

Although Caroline flack killed herself next day, her best friend ”Lou” claimed that the two had a wonderful night. Caroline was obviously feeling drained, but Lou promised that she did manage to convince her that she was fine. However, just minutes after her friend left her flat, Caroline took her own life.
According to Mail Online, Lou also admitted that Caroline was ”brilliant” and even confined her friend to go, as she felt better after the ambulance services left the property. Moreover, Caroline’s family say that they don’t blame Lou, and feel so thankful to her for being with Caroline on her last moments.

Apparently, Caroline who was arrested in December for aggressively hitting her boyfriend with a lamp, did warn the police about attempting to kill herself. In fact, the UK celebrity told the police that if the case proceeds, she will commit suicide.
Although these comments clearly show that she needed help, everyone is wondering why she was left alone, and without professional assitance.

TV host’s boyfriend Lewis Burton reported her to the police last December, claiming she tried to kill him. Following several investigations, the police decided to arrest Caroline. However, Burton later withdrew his complaint, yet the police continued the case.
Burton expressed his deepest sadness following the suicide, saying that he is heartbroken. He shared a picture of the two on a beach, and captioned it with “I am so lost for words. I am in so much pain.”
