These celebrity challenges became a major hit these days in quarantine. In fact, famous people from all over the world challenged their fans to do it in order to kill time at home. This series of challenge though, came through the social platform TikTok. This Chinese-owned social video-sharing app allows you to shoot, edit and share videos with filters, music, animation, special effects, and more.

After posting them, and just like any other social media app, you get to receive views, followers and likes. Currently, TikTok can be considered the fastest-growing online platform, as people are using it to kill time at home while having some fun, and interacting with the outside world.

Oh NaNa Challenge

The Oh nana challenge is widely associated to the outbreak of Coronavirus. Many celebrities promote the challenge only to encourage people to self-isolate, by giving them some fun things to do at home. Basically, following the sound of the Brazilian song, and sometimes you can have a partner to perform this dance with.

Millions of users joined the movement, and some of those videos skyrocketed views. Although there are different versions in different countries, either way this is one of the fun challenges to kill time at home, and move a bit.

Toilet Paper Challenge

Probably the one similar thing that all people seemed to do across the world. Since the news of Coronavirus and state-imposed confinement made headlines, supermarkets were instantly emptied from toilet paper. People raced not to get food and essentials, but stocked toilet paper like there’s no tomorrow.

Celebrities on the other hand, made use of this to create a football-related challenge. it consists of doing at least 10 juggles without dropping the toilet paper. Football icons such as Leo Messi, Sergio Ramos and even basketball players like Luka Doncic gave it a try on social media. While some were successful in doing more than 10, others were not that lucky.

Of course, how can we not mention the one challenge that started it all? the Tik Tok challenge that first made the app famous. In addition to thousands of people uploading their content, celebrities also gave it a try, although it’s more of a millennial activity. This show has captivated the audience since the first episodes, given the fact that it handles the whole aspect of finding a husband differently than any other dating show before.

As oppose to love Island where couples are tempted in order to test their relationship, love is blind actually offers the opposite experience for love hunters.

Since the beginning of 2020, the COVID-19 has killed over 3000 people, and numbers don’t cease to increase. As the lethal disease keeps on spreading rapidly, with symptoms that only start to appear two weeks after the infection. Here is what the movie ”Contagion” predicted about Coronavirus.

The Movie Plot of Contagion

Gwyneth Paltrow plays the role of patient 0, or the person responsible for the spread of the virus. Following her business trip to China, she starts feeling sick, but believe sit’s a simple cold. However, just few days later, she suffers a seizure and dies under the shock of doctors unable to figure out the reason behind her death.

Furthermore, the movie illustrates the struggle facing governments to control the spread of the disease. Obviously, secrecy was one of the main issues, which caused media to speculate and eventually frighten the people.

Similarities With Covid19

Since the outbreak of Corona few months ago, the numbers have been alarmingly on the rise. Furthermore, the core of the movie was to show that simple mistakes can come at a great cost. Both the virus in the movie as well as coronavirus, share the fact that they are highly contagious. In addition, in both cases also, people’s panic amid the declaration of an emergency state, show how individuals can be a lead cause of the spread of such viruses.

What Does The Movie Tell Us Exactly?

The main message of the movie Contagion is quite clear. In fact, it addresses the issue of state secrets affecting the public. Moreover, Quaden’s video received international feedback, as people sympathized with the bullied 9-year-old-boy. In fact, there was a large donation initiative that was started, and was able to generate thousands of dollars in just hours. The video depicted the suffering of the child, who witnessed bullying and abuse by his classmates. He kept crying, and asking his mother for a knife to kill himself. His mom, heartbroken, argued that she only shared the video to raise awareness about bullying, and asked people to ”educate their children and teach them compassion.”

Quaden Receives The World’s Sympathy

The video already reached 20 million views, and received multiple funds, as the story went viral instantly. Many celebrities also stood in solidarity with Quaden, and even initiated a GoFundMe page, which have raised $440,000 to send the little boy on a trip to Disneyland.

Hugh Jackman, comedian Brad Williams, and The Walking Dead star Jon Bernthal shared their heartwarming wishes with the world. However, several outlets called out the mom for projecting a young kid to the internet.

The Hidden Truth Behind The Video

In parallel, some sources claimed the the heartbreaking story of Quaden Bayles is nothing more than a scam. Some people did their digging, and a tweet started a fuss about the story being a way to get money. The tweet showed footage from an Instagram account, containing posts revealing that Quaden is actually 18 years old. However, soon enough those rumors went to rest as another video appeared of the boy and his mom on TV in 2015, when he was just 4 years old, to raise awareness about dwarfism.

Former Love Island Host Caroline Flack Killed Herself

The heartbreaking news broke on Saturday, after Caroline Flack was found dead in her apartment. The former TV host of reality show ‘Love Island’, reportedly killed herself just minutes after her best friend left her place.

Speculations regarding the suicide claim that it was due to social media backlash. The 40 years-old struggled with ”shaming” following her pending case, in which boyfriend accused her of physically abusing him.

Although Caroline flack killed herself next day, her best friend ”Lou” claimed that the two had a wonderful night. Caroline was obviously feeling drained, but Lou promised that she did manage to convince her that she was fine. However, just minutes after her friend left her flat, Caroline took her own life.

According to Mail Online, Lou also admitted that Caroline was ”brilliant” and even confined her friend to go, as she felt better after the ambulance services left the property. Moreover, Caroline’s family say that they don’t blame Lou, and feel so thankful to her for being with Caroline on her last moments.

Apparently, Caroline who was arrested in December for aggressively hitting her boyfriend with a lamp, did warn the police about attempting to kill herself. In fact, the UK celebrity told the police that if the case proceeds, she will commit suicide.

TV host’s boyfriend Lewis Burton reported her to the police last December, claiming she tried to kill him. Following several investigations, the police decided to arrest Caroline. However, Burton later withdrew his complaint, yet the police continued the case.
