The world is a very strange place, much more than we can imagine. Nowadays with technology taking over, we have access to absolutely everything! And as a proof, here are some of the weirdest things discovered with Google Maps. From unexplainable drawings on fields, to ”crazy” people and events around the world. 

Aerial ”Creepy” Images 

There are some things that can only be seen from above. As a result of the accuracy feature of google maps when offering aerial images, some ”creepy” things were discovered. First, we have Trementina Base. This mark is believed to be related to Scientology. In fact, Google Maps discovered it right outside of Trementina in Mexico, which is owned by a member of this group.

Second,another classic of aerial images is the “drawings” on corps fields. What could it be? Aliens? Secret groups? A farmer with extra time? We don’t know, and that makes this perfect triangle drawn in a field in Kazakhstan even more mysterious.

Some Of The Craziest People

Drunk people often do the most hilarious things. Actually, drunk videos are also one of our favorite humor generators on the Internet. Sometimes, even Google Maps can’t miss spotting people who do not even know where they are. Like this man who ended up in his own trunk with no clothes on.

In addition, people can have some weird ideas, such as this image caught on screen of a group of friends standing in the desert with creepy masks on…

Google Maps Didn’t Miss Anything

The good side (also the bad side) of technology, is that you are always spotted. In fact, this goes for certain locations as well. The Red Lake in Iraq was a normal lake, until google maps spotted that it has become red, due to ” the runoff of a local slaughterhouse.”

On the funny side, a giant chicken was spotted in a corner of a neighborhood street in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Although nobody was able to explain how the chicken got there in the first place, local authorities insisted on removing it from there.

Although Kylie Jenner’s dating history is not as an open book as her sisters, she has her share of cheating scandals. Actually, her most-known love stories featured Tyga and Travis Scott. Putin Announces That Russia Has Found A Vaccine For Coronavirus

The Russian president announced this week that his country has a vaccine for Coronavirus. In fact, Vladimir Putin even assured that the vaccine works perfectly, giving the example of his daughter.

Furthermore, a vaccine against Covid-19 is the number one priority worldwide and many countries, organizations and companies say they are close to developing one. By the end of this year, some other countries are expected to have their own vaccines. It is important that political barriers do not prevent the best available technologies from being used for the benefit of all people in the face of the most serious challenge that humanity has faced in decades.

Putin Claims That The Vaccine Is Approved For Use

Russian experts claim that several trials of the vaccine have been performed. In fact, they argue that it has even been approved for use, according to international sanitary laws. President Putin revealed that the vaccine passed all checks, adding that ”his daughter had already been given it.”

BBC’s medical correspondent argued that ” Moscow has not released any safety or immunity data from its studies. This makes it impossible for independent scientists to make an assessment.”

Several Parties Question The Legitimacy Of This Vaccine

Unfortunately, instead of looking at the science behind the proven adenoviral and vector vaccine, tested and developed by Russia, some politicians and international media have decided to focus on politics and attempts to undermine the credibility of the Russian vaccine.

Moreover, most doubts have risen from the US, claiming that this vaccine is lacking legitimacy. The WHO indirectly supported those claims, and called for proofs.

When Will This Vaccine Be Accessible For People? 

According to the Russian government, the vaccine has proven to work in over 100 Covid-19 active cases. Putin said that the vaccine that was initially developed by Moscow’s Gamaleya Institute, provides “sustainable immunity” against the coronavirus. In addition, he added that the vaccine proved “quite effective”, without giving further details.

On this note, it’s expected to have the vaccine ready to circulate among people starting of January 2021.

Is Bubonic Plague Back? And How Did We Deal With It In The Past?

Bubonic plague is a lethal virus that took the lives of millions in the 17th century. And even though with Coronavirus we thought that this will be it, turns out it’s not. In fact, this disease has been diagnosed in China few days ago. Inner Mongolia is already taking precautions after a Bubonic plague case was confirmed in the country, as China confess that their might be more cases.

What Is The Bubonic Plague?

Bubonic Plague is behind the most deaths from a disease in the world. It’s often referred to as the Black death, which occurred between 1331-1770. The total death toll is estimated to be 25 million people in Europe only. Moreover, according to investigations and research, it’s basically a ‘‘painful lymph node swellings called buboes, primarily found around the base of the neck, in the armpits and groin which oozed pus.”

In 2020, china confirmed their first positive case of bubonic plague. it goes back to a man in Urad Middle Banner, in Bayannur city. The second suspected case concerns a 15-year-old, who possibly had contact with a dog who had the plague.

How Did The World Deal With It In The Past?

In the past, things were obviously different when it comes to facing pandemics. there was no technology, research, advanced medical tools and such. However, the Bubonic plague remains a mysterious disease, and even nowadays scientists are expected to struggle with it. In addition, medieval generations did resort to natural remedies in their fight against the plague. This includes applying a mixture of tree resin, inject snakeskin, and even drinking the pus of lanced buboes. (Eww….)

That being said, doctors also tried their best to deal with the outbreak of the plague. They are known mainly for their created costumes, that revolved around a beak mask. They believed back then that such a mask can prevent air-infections, and also avoid the bad smell associated with the disease.

Nevertheless, there is no reason to worry about a possible re-outbreak of the Bubonic plague. In fact, nowadays, it can be cured by the use of antibiotics. Symptoms include: High fever, chills, nausea, weakness and swollen lymph nodes in the neck, armpit or groin.
