The Weirdest Items Found On Wish That Will Make You Ask Questions

2 June, 2020 by Sahar Ajjab

Online shopping is fun, cheap and easy. With a simple click, you can buy everything and anything you want. Thanks to its popular success and trendiness, anything you can pretty much think of is available on platforms online. Well, Wish.com may be giving us a bit too much to be honest. We’ve made a recompilation of the weirdest items found on Wish, and given the trend of consumer behavior, you’ll definitely be asking questions!

Toe Straightener

To begin with, I have personally never heard of this to begin with. This item straightens your toes so they can fit in your shoes (as if they didn’t before.)

Furthermore, there is no medical research approving its use. So no, it’s not the invention of the year., rather one of the weirdest items found on Wish.

Lighters You’ll Never Lose

Lighters are one of the easily lost items in the world. They are small, and if you are a smoker, you always need a lighter on you. Therefore, Wish found this brilliant idea of creating the weirdest lighters, that no one will ever ”steal”. A USB, key chain, cigarettes,..etc.

In addition, lighters often becomes a conversation initiator on nights out. And you know what they say, first impressions are everything!

Tiny Hands For Your Hands

Although made for pranks and halloween, these creepy mini hands that you can glue on your hand, are just weird. However, we understand that some people love these kinds of things, so no judging!

Light Tab

Although it is not the first thing we look for at a party. Yet, this might become your go-to-item when you organize a lively party. Because thanks to a LED light on the water tab can make you party while you cook rice.

Unusual Fashion

And the best for last of course. One of the weirdest items found on wish is definitely their ”clothing line.” From foot-wear to PJ’s, they offer a selection of unusual fashion. So, whoever your celebrity crush might be, you’ll have chance to see them all the time with Wish.

Teleworking From Home With Kids? Your Guideline To Survival

13 May, 2020 by Sahar Ajjab

Quarantine is about spending time with your loved ones, right? However, it’s not always easy, especially if you are teleworking. In fact, after a couple of months, some parents teleworking from home with kids just had enough. We went through hilarious social media posts, to find you this guideline to survival. So, if you don’t know what to do with your kids when you need to work, here are few (brilliant) ideas to help you not go too crazy.

Give Them Something To Do

Yes, with just a few virtual classes (or no classes at all), poor kids must be getting bored. Creative parents shared their magic recipes on the internet. In fact, while teleworking all day, parents hardly have time to spend with their children during the day. Therefore, give them tasks that can increase their productivity, critical thinking and sense of responsibility. Here are a few ideas to help you get your children to behave.

Let Them Play

In addition to teaching them something new everyday, let them have some fun as well. Furthermore, we understand that the struggle is real, since they want you to play with them, right? No worries, some parents found ”modern solutions to modern problems.” And, if you need a quick nap, tell your kids to draw you while you sleep, and the best drawing gets a prize. Pretty darn smart, no?

Using my tears to clean the crusted green paint speckled all over our house. #kidsaretheworst I didn’t post this on Wednesday when it happened because it was NOT funny yet. #art #no #washyourhands Update: There was a 1-ft wide trail of green paint around our entire island. The majority of the paint was cleaned up but it is still on the couch seams and floor cracks and random places we’ve washed but haven’t rewashed yet. Thank you for all the good vibes sent our way. ?

Keep Them Busy

If you’re teleworking from home with kids, and none of the solutions above work, then you must keep them busy somehow. It’s important to teach your kids discipline and respecting limits this quarantine. You can do that simply by letting them breathe some fresh air in the yard, or ”playing” with them without stopping your work.

Give Yourself A Break

Finally, the main coping mechanism while teleworking from home with kids, is to take it easy. It’s okay, really! It’s normal to get frustrated from time to time. But, remember, that your kids have probably never been happier, being able to see their parents 24/7. So, do what you gotta do, and cherish this time with them, as you may never get the chance to do it again.

Cameron Diaz, Scarlett Johansson And Other Celebs’ Virtual Fight

6 May, 2020 by Sahar Ajjab

Quarantine really got us seeing the weirdest things on social media. From Tik Tok challenges, to cooking experiments, and even new songs about ”Coronavirus.” Although it’s pretty safe to say that everyone is out of things to do, Celebrities proved to be even more bored. However, w must admit that they are still entertaining us, even behind closed doors, through a celebs’ virtual fight.

In addition to many celebs’ challenges and new looks, several Hollywood actresses joined in together for an epic celebs’ virtual fight.

“Badass Boss Bitches” Featuring Many A-Listers

The video that was shared by Zoë Bell on her youtube channel, features big names in Hollywood. Cameron Diaz, Scarlett Johansson, Margot Robbie, Drew Barrymore…etc, showed their fighting skills despite social distancing. The idea? Well, Badass Boss Bitches, as Bell labeled the video, is just for fun and has no ulterior motive. Furthermore, the first sequence clearly shows how bored these celebs are, punching, kicking, or thwacking the next participant through the camera. If anything, lockdown has proved that everyone is equally bored, regardless of how big their house is, or how rich they are. In fact, celebrities went viral in quarantine, unleashing their creativity through releasing hilarious videos.

Why Can’t Celebs Stop Releasing Epic Content?

The ”celeb’s virtual fight” is just a notch of what has really been going on in Hollywood this quarantine. Do you remember the Coronavirus video by Cardi B? Or even the epic High School musical throwback featuring Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens? Yeah, celebs just can’t stop releasing epic content.

Nevertheless, there may be a valid reason behind this trend. In fact, Hollywood is just as impacted by Covid-19 as any other business. Therefore, while celebs are trying to keep busy and entertain us, they also try to stay in the spotlight, and make sure they are still ”trending.”

The Best Of Celebs’ Social Distancing

Regardless of why we are seeing so much celebrity related content, we are happy to be entertained (by all means.) Like Madonna’s new version of her iconic song ”Vogue” with fried fish. And of course, when Ellen got so bored of ”social distancing” that she started calling and ”annoying” everybody on her celebs’ contact list. Moreover, solidarity movements were also promoted by celebs like Priyanka Chopra, who joined the rest of us in applauding all the sanitary workers.

Kourtney Kardashian Quits KUWTK After Savage Fight With Kim

16 April, 2020 by Sahar Ajjab

This is definitely not the first time Kourtney Kardashian ”quits” the Keeping Up With The Kardashians reality TV show. In fact, just few months ago, she threatened to leave the family show in order to keep her private life. However, this time, things got real ugly. In the latest KUWTK episode, Kourtney attacked Kim, who supposedly was laughing at her in the middle of a fight. On her side, Kim was not ashamed to react back, and things got physical while their sister Khloe tried to intervene.

The Kardashian Sisters Get Physical Live

It all started with a simple ”sisters argument” between Kourtney and Kim. The two were accompanied by Khloe Kardashian and Kendall Jenner. While Kourtney was explaining was she was furious about her sisters’ attitudes towards her. On the other hand, Kim started laughing and was not taking her sister’s feelings in a serious way. Therefore, (just like most sisters) one provoked the other and things led to a serious physical fight between he two on live reality TV.

KUWTK Without Kourt?

In response to the whole situation, Kourt said that she is quitting the show for good. Although she said this before, this times she seemed very serious about her decision. Later on, she explained that she just can’t handle how Kim has been treating her, and prefers to take a break from constantly being with them. However, the fans argued that Kourtney’s decision is all based on money, and jealousy from her sisters’ success. Their mother, Kris Jenner joked about the situation on The Ellen Show, saying that her daughter just got ‘‘over-dramatic.”

The Best Memes Of The Fight

Of course, the social media world has to react to the fight. Many followers KUWTK (and not followers) created the funniest memes about the physical fight between the Kardashians. Mostly, they focused on Kim’s comeback showed serious fighting skills, and they joked about that being a Kanye effect, referring to Kim’s husband. Here are few memes that the Kardashians fight sparked all over the internet.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wuvaYSiYJjQ

You may ask ”who the hell dances in a funeral?” Well, every country has their own norms, and cultural differences. In Ghana, it is a common tradition to dance with the coffin at the funeral. Moreover, the men carrying the coffin are referred to as Pallbearers, since they lift the mood at funerals across the African country.

How Did It Become A Coronavirus Meme?

There are several videos of Pallbearers lifting and dancing with the coffin. However, the most popular one (hence, the one that inspired the meme) was uploaded on Youtube in 2017, and quickly gained more than 2 million views. Consequently, amid the outbreak of coronavirus and the high death-toll around the world, people became intrigued and increasingly interested in funerals as their search keyword.

Therefore, when the internet and more specifically ”the meme world” laid eyes on this video, there was no doubt that the dancing Coffin meme was going to go viral.

And This Is How People Are Using It
