The Simpsons’ American cartoon show has been running for over 27 years. This show that we grew up with, has been accurately predicting future events. Although most of us thought that it was mere fiction, experts have come to realize that the producers of the show ”knew” what the future will hold.

Trump Will Be President

Probably the most unexpected of all. On a an episode aired about 19 years ago, the show presented a new president of the United States. Donald Trump, solely a business man at the time, was elected president of the country. While many people regarded it as a joke (given the fact that the show is a cartoon) nobody really had imagined it will come to life in the not-too-far future.

Ebola Outbreak

On their episode 3 of season 9, Marge suggests a read to a sick bart. The book was fictionally named ”Curious George and the Ebola Virus.” However, in the 90s, Ebola wasn’t exactly a widespread disease. It didn’t become a news headline until 2014, which means 17 years after it appeared on the show. Coincidence?

US wins Curling Olympics Against Sweden

The Simpsons also predicted sports events’ results. During the 2018 winter olympics clash between Sweden and the US, Sweden was the favorite tow in. However, and as the show depicted in an episode in 2010, the US won the gold medal, beating Sweden in men’s curling olympics.

GOT’s Finale Plot Twist

One of the best TV shows is undoubtedly Game of Thrones. Known for their unexpected endings, it was extremely hard for anyone to predict how the show will end. Yet, if we go few years back, exactly to the first episode of season 9 of The Simpsons, we can see it. The episode even predicted the Three-Eyed Raven and the Night King. Impressive!

NSA Spying

Although back in the 90s this wasn’t a generally known fact, the producers of the comic show used homer to imply NSA spying on the general public. At the time, nobody took it seriously, however, Edward Snowden confirmed that it’s an exiting fact. In 2013, documents were released proving the NSA is actually spying ”illegally” on American citizens.

Florida Couple ”Win A Baby” In A Radio Contest

The United States of America is known as ” the land of the free.” People more or less, have the freedom to do what they want, even if it’s allowing you to ”win a baby” on a radio show contest.

This couple won the ”Win a baby” contest of a聽Radio Station in Florida, and became new parents of a baby boy thanks to the show.

The Contest Was Hosted By Florida鈥檚 B103.9 In November 2017

”Win a baby” contest is organized by B103.9 radio station in Florida. In November 2017, they offered one woman the chance of wining a free round of in-vitro fertilization (IVF), with all medications’ expenses included.

So the show asked women to send a video explaining why they want to be mothers. They have posted the winning couple’s submission, as well as photos of the new born on their website.

The Show Helped The Couple Start Their Own Family

Krista and Anthony Rivera of Cape Coral, won the contest in 2017. They publicly thanked the contest for giving them the opportunity to become parents for the first time. The Riveras have been fighting infertility, a common issue for a lot of couples.

In fact, according to the American Medical Association, infertility is now considered a disease. Moreover, an IVF nowadays costs roughly $20,000 a cycle. For many couples, they’ll have to take loans in order to afford it.

“Win a Baby” Was Held Again In 2019

Garrett Campbell Rivera, the couple’s first baby was born in August 2019, just a couple of years after the fertilization process began. Both new parents made sure to thank the contest and the radio station for making their dream come true.

Thanks to the successful experience of Krista and Anthony Rivera, the show hit again with a contest earlier this year. The winners this time are called Vy and Chris Nguyen, who are going through infertility as well, and are also hoping to be able to start their family soon.

This is the story of Kristina Kuqi. She had planned a trip around Europe with her boyfriend, only to break up with her few days before the travel date. It was then when she decided to embark upon a solo journey in the most creative way.

Kissing Strangers From Paris To Rome

The idea initially came after her boyfriend left her before their trip to Paris together. she was heartbroken, yet still insisted on traveling alone. when se finally got to visit the Eiffel Tower, she realized how much she wanted to get a romantic picture in front of the French site.

It was when she noticed an ”attractive” man taking pictures alone, she approached him asking for a picture. To his surprise, she kissed him to get the picture of her dreams.

She Documented Her Story On Social Media

Kristina enjoyed the experience, and her photos were well-taken by social media users. After posting the picture with the French guy, she posted another one on Twitter kissing another stranger at the coliseum in Rome. She captioned it ‘‘I hope this guy from Rome is doing good too”.

The spree continued, and the 23 years old grad student shared photos from previous encounters. In Kentucky, and while attending a wedding, she kissed a random fireman to bring one of her fantasies to life.

The TV show FRIENDS was aired in the late 90’s and continued until 2004. It’s considered one of the most successful shows in the history of modern television. The show told the story of 6 friends sharing the good and bad moments of life for about 8 years.
